Nearly 60 Years of Paving Excellence
Since 1958 Senn Blacktop has been a family owned and operated Wisconsin paving company. From founders Alger "Putt" Senn and Kurt Switzenburg to current President Darrin Senn, the Chippewa Valley has relied on their innovative leadership and experienced blacktop crews to create durable, attractive driveways, parking lots, city roads, and side walks for our communities.
Throughout the years Senn Blacktop has experienced many expansions and improvements to their blacktopping methods. Among these enhancements were the addition of a 200-ton silo, Stansteel Drum Mix Asphalt Plant, and "bag house." With the help of these company additions and their top-notch paving crews, Senn Blacktop has been able to remain a profitable, thriving business even through the toughest of times.
Darrin Senn, current president, has overseen further growth of the company and an increase to over 50 employees. They employ experienced crew members who operate a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment, including graders, pavers, and rollers. The company uses a fully computer-operated plant generating thousands of tons of asphalt a day during the peak spring-to-fall blacktopping season.
